Good Morning

The fully electric E700 8×4 watercart has arrived. Now in testing in Auckland, it will be delivered to Gisborne in early December. We think this is now New Zealand’s largest on highway electric truck

The first of Waste Management’s E300s now delivered prior to the start of Hutt City’s 100% electric fleet for waste collection.

XCMG had it’s usual large presence at this weeks Bauma Shanghai. However the exhibition overall was smaller than usual with attendance well down due the Covid 19.

XCMG’s hydrogen FCEV tipper featuring the new Outlook cabin was released at Bauma. The tipper uses a mix of hydrogen fuel cell and lithium battery to achieve good range but still capture regenerative braking. Our next E700s to arrive in New Zealand will also feature this cabin.

The latest fully electric concrete mixer truck features a “lift off” battery pack that will dramatically lower the price of the battery swapping system. The mixer be back on the road fully charged as quickly as it can be loaded with the next batch of concrete.

Quality fully electric wheel loaders are now a reality with the XC918EV and XC958EV released at Bauma. The 6 tonne and 19 tonne machines both have 8 hours duration in normal loading conditions on a 50 minute charge time. We have pricing available for these models if you are interested.

If you need bigger XCMG’s 150 tonne diesel electric XC9350 was released at Bauma. The 150 tonne operating weight loader is standard with an 18mbucket for quarry work.

The massive loader was certainly the star of the show at Bauma and features an energy recovery system.

A video of the XC loader series is here.

Another XE80CT and trailer waiting to head south on the ferry, this time for Invercargill Hire

XCMG can now offer reach stackers with a 60 degree tilt function to quickly unload 20′ containers. This spreader can be added to the fully electric stacker.

A great shot of the XDE130 diesel electric rigid dump truck. This is the smallest electric drive rigid dumper in the world.
