October 2016

Good Morning

I was back at the truck factory last week to view and have a brief test of the prototype fully electric truck. This eight tonne GVM vehicle can travel over 150km laden on a charge. More development work will be done and all components are sourced in China.

Some of the Hanvan stock, these are the 430hp version.

I also went through the off highway truck assembly line. This 40 tonne version of the heavy duty trucks have the axles attached upside down before being flipped for final assembly

Not Formula One but still pretty quick wheel attachment.

United Civil’s new LW500K all set for delivery. This one is on L5 tyres and fitted with Loadrite scales.

Another LW180K ready for delivery this one for Trimble/Loadrite. It will be used as a test machine to help develop new weigh scale technology in their Avondale facility.

This is a lightly used Landex LW300K we have refurbished at our Penrose facility. Now fitted with new L5 tyres and a grapple bucket it will be used in wood waste at Mt Maunganui.

A couple more forklifts going out to Waste Management. This is a 3.5 tonne machine on solid tyres

The 4.5 tonne version features an oil bath pre-cleaner and 4th and 5th valves to run a bin rotator. It is also fitted with front, overhead and rear screens as well as oil bath pre-cleaner

Our first “narrow” scissor sale for Aongatete Cool Stores. The XE100C is on a galvanised Pinto trailer. Pinto are manufactured right next door to us in Penrose.

We now have these 6m working height push around platforms in stock. A smart bit of kit for your workshop or warehouse at $6,300 + GST. AS/NZ1418 compliant.

Every four years XCMG have their own company sports day in the Xuzhou version of the “birdsnest” stadium. This year 18,000 staff turned up to participate in,or watch the games.
