Another forklift delivery this time a CPCD50 fitted with a wide carriage, duals and a clear view mast for Mt Pokaka in Kerikeri.
Mt Pokakas LW500K fitted with a 7m bucket has now clocked over 5000 hours loading a variety of wood products at the busy mill.
Two more rough terrain forklifts this time with added hydraulic fork positioning. Both of these are now out working, one in Morewa, the other in Thames.

A couple of LW300K’s fresh off the boat at our Penrose facility. Both are sold, one is off to Suva, the other to Lawrence as part of a three loader order. The loader factory is double shifting to keep up with orders at present. Exports alone were over 2000 units in September.

I was back at the road machinery factory yesterday to view the new GR2405 grader. This is a 17 tonne unit (similar size to a Cat 140M) with Cummins QSB engine and a Dana sequential transmission.
The pivot is now behind the cabin and the A frame and slew bearing much stronger. Visibility from the new cabin is excellent.
I also visited the truck factory. The latest fully electric cab chassis, this one developed to accept a waste compression superstructure, had just arrived. A right hand drive version should be ready this year.
XCMG are very pleased to have cracked perhaps the toughest crane market in the world. This XCA100E crane is now working in Germany.
The high build quality allows difficult lifts such as this with only 5cm clearance above the building to be achieved.
