Wishing you Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year from Landex and Etrucks®. It’s been a bizarre year with so many disruptions from Covid 19. Hopefully the worst of that is behind us now and we can look forward to 2021 with some optimism.

Another shipment of E300 cargo trucks has arrived in our workshop.

XCMG is trialing a gantry style battery swapping system on a metro tipper fleet near Xuzhou. This will be much cheaper than the fully robotic system.

The 8×4 ULT cab chassis is now available with air bag suspension and disc brakes. The tare is now down to 12t for the cab chassis and under 14t complete with an NZ built alloy tipping body.

XCMG’s 27 tonne fully electric excavator debuted at Bauma. It features a massive 525kWh battery bank for 6 hours run time on a 2.5 hour charge. A one hour charge at lunchtime will allow you a full 8 hour shift.

The 4.2 tonne electric excavator now features remote control. This model features a Cummins developed drive train.

However 5G remote control which allows you to operate the machines from anywhere is the real game changer. This 33 tonne unit was demonstrated at Bauma.

New stock arrived of our small telehandlers after a record slow trip from China of 62 days.

Another tracked scissor ready for delivery, this the first of several units for Hireways.

The fully electric port equipment was also displayed at Bauma.

Full autonomy was on show with a range of rollers now available without driver controls or cabins. Here a 30 tonne PTR and a 26 tonne single drum.

Fully electric rollers like this 26 tonne PTR will be available next year.

XCMG is starting to dominate the “kilo tonne” crane sector. They will deliver over 80 all terrain cranes, capable of more than a 1000 tonne lift in 2021.

Plenty of smaller cranes at the factory if you need one.
